Poster Presentation

Poster boards will be placed in the designated poster hall next to presentation room. The place among the poster boards will be indicated by the number listed next to Abstract in the Conference Book of Abstracts. Posters will be available in poster hall for the entire duration of the Conference.

The poster board surface area is 70 cm wide and 180 cm high. Please take this size into account when designing a poster.

Materials to stick posters to the boards (e.g. adhesive tape) will be available on site.

Oral Presentation

The presentation time for Participants is provided in the conference program and includes questions and discussion.

The presentation time for Young Scientist Session Participants is 15 min. including questions and discussion.

 

If using a PowerPoint presentation ( or any other PC based application ), please note you need to bring it on USB Memory stick or CD/DVD and load it on the conference computer at least at the breake before the start of the session.

Please note that the conference computer are being supplied with MS Office, Open Office and PDF reader software.

If combining video films with PowerPoint, please make sure to check it in the session hall during a coffee or lunch break prior to your session.

Important note for Macintosh users

In order to use MAC presentations on a PC compatible computer please note that you need to:

– use a common font, such as Arial, Times New Roman, Verdana etc. (special fonts might be changed to a default font on a PowerPoint based PC);

– insert pictures as JPG files (and not TIF, PNG or PICT – these images will not be visible on a PowerPoint based PC ).

– alternatively you may use your own Macintosh laptop computer. In such a case please confirm you provide it with a VGA adaptor for external signal.
